Cathleen Through The Years

Cathleen hails from the bustling metropolis of Condon, Oregon—population 697 as of 2022. (Yes, you read that right. No, I didn’t leave off a zero.) But don’t let the small-town roots fool you—she’s seen far more than just the local wildlife. She’s been all over the world, collecting experiences and meeting incredible people along the way.

Here’s a fun fact you probably didn’t see coming: Cathleen spent part of her life as a Benedictine Nun. Oh, and she also has a Master’s degree in theology—because why not? The Benedictine Order, in case you’re wondering, is one of the oldest in the Catholic Church, tracing its monastic traditions all the way back to the 6th century.

In recent years, Cathleen has been a powerhouse in the startup world, mentoring students and entrepreneurs across Orange County and beyond. She played a key role in securing a game-changing education grant, helping launch countless aspiring innovators into their futures.

And if you thought her adventures stopped at business and academia, think again. Cathleen and her partner Debra have travel around the world and back again. They quite literally went to the ends of the Earth—twice. Yep, Antarctica. Because once just wasn’t enough. So, the real question is… what’s next?
