Bluey, Snickers, and Coco go on a picnic with their parents. They play a fun game called Shadowlands. In this game, they must stay in the shady spots and avoid the sunny grass, which is filled with crocodiles. As they play, Bluey notices that Coco often tries to take shortcuts when the game becomes hard. One time, they get stuck on a small island of shade under a palm tree. Mum calls them for tea and cupcakes, and Coco thinks about breaking the rules to reach the food. Bluey wants to stick to the rules because he believes it makes the game more enjoyable. He encourages Coco to find another way to get back to the picnic without stepping into the sun. Together, they look for a moving cloud that can create a shadow for them to run to. With teamwork and determination, Bluey and Coco make a dash for the cloud’s shadow. They time their run perfectly and reach the picnic just in time for tea and cupcakes. Following the rules leads them to a fun adventure, and they enjoy their tasty treats together. In the end, Bluey feels proud that they played the game correctly. He knows that playing fair makes everything more exciting. The picnic becomes a happy memory for everyone, filled with laughter and delicious snacks.
