Mum gets everything ready for a fun trip to the pool. She packs all the important things, but Bluey and Dad joke about her being too careful. They think she is bringing too much stuff. When they get to the pool, Bluey and Dad realize they forgot the bag with all of Mum's careful packing! Bingo does not have her floaties to stay safe in the water, and Bluey cannot find her goggles to see underwater. They also forgot their towels, which means they can’t dry off after swimming. Without sunscreen in the bag, they have to stay in the small shady spots. They feel hot and hungry because they forgot their morning tea, too. Bluey, Bingo, and Dad start to feel sad and think about giving up on having fun at the pool. Just when things look bad, Mum shows up! She brings the missing bag with everything they need. Everyone is excited to see her and all the things she packed. They learn that planning ahead can really help make a day more enjoyable. With Mum's help, they can finally have a great time swimming and playing at the pool. In the end, the family realizes that sometimes, being prepared is the best way to have fun together.
