On Christmas Eve, Bluey and her family play a fun game called Verandah Santa. Dad starts the game by quietly sneaking up on the kids while they sleep to leave them presents. Everyone is excited and trying not to peek! When it is Bingo’s turn, little cousin Socks accidentally bites Bluey. This makes Bluey feel upset and grumpy. When Bluey takes her turn as Santa, she decides not to give Socks a present because she is still mad. Socks runs away feeling sad. Mum and Dad notice what happened and talk to Bluey. They explain that Christmas is not just about getting gifts; it is about being kind and caring for others. They help Bluey see that she should apologize to Socks for not sharing. Finally, Bluey understands the true spirit of Christmas. She realizes that being nice to others is more important than just receiving presents. With this new understanding, Bluey decides to make things right with Socks. She learns that kindness brings happiness to everyone during the holiday season.
