December 25th | Christmas Day

Santa returns home as the sun starts to rise,
With a twinkle of joy still bright in his eyes.
He parks the sleigh as the night turns to day,
While the reindeer curl up in the soft, cozy hay
He kicks his boots off by the fire with a flip
And sinks in his chair with warm cocoa to sip.

Mrs. Claus greets dear Santa with hugs and a kiss,
“You’ve done it again—not a child was missed!”
They laugh and they chat ‘til the evening’s grown deep,
Then Santa nods off for a long winter’s sleep.
For even the jolliest needs a good rest,
Before planning next Christmas – it will be Santa’s best!
