A Valentine to Feed the Heart ❤️
By Cynthia Kirkeby
Beneath the sky of endless blue,
Two bicycles glide, their path anew.
A basket brims with bread and cheese,
Wine chilled to charm the softest breeze.
They find a spot where flowers grow,
A meadow kissed by sunlight’s glow.
Blanket spread on emerald green,
A lovers’ haven, pure … serene.
She laughs; he pours the ruby wine,
Their glasses clink—a toast divine.
The bread they break, while tales they share,
A feast of love beyond compare.
As twilight falls, two candles glow,
The evening whispers soft and slow.
Two hearts entwined, a love so grand,
Through space and time, their love will stand.
