Hold on to your hula skirts, folks — the galaxy’s wildest duo is back, and the first trailer for Lilo & Stitch (2025) proves they’re just as weird, adorable, and chaotic as ever. If you thought Earth was safe from alien mischief, think again. This trailer reminds us all that “ohana” means family… and family apparently means hiding a blue alien in your laundry basket and hoping no one notices. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, who definitely has a soft spot for lovable weirdos (and who can blame him?), this live-action version of the Disney classic mixes the heart of the original with some shiny new magic. Of course, it wouldn’t be Lilo & Stitch without its stars: the mischievous little alien Stitch (still fuzzy, still hungry, still a menace) and his human best friend Lilo, who has more sass and heart than an entire room full of grown-ups. This time, Maia Kealoha steps into Lilo’s flip-flops, and she’s already winning hearts faster than you can say “experiment 626.” And yes, the voice of Stitch is still Chris Sanders, because honestly, who else could growl and giggle like that? So what’s the trailer showing us? Well, without spoiling a thing, you’ll see plenty of laughs, some truly bonkers alien antics, heartwarming island vibes, and a reminder that family is about more than just who you’re related to, it’s who you stick with, even when they’re wrecking your house one claw at a time.
